computer bring wierd and slow trying to wake up from sleep on windows 8.1?

When I have the computer go to sleep, it turns the mouse and keyboard off and seems like the whole computer gets shut off. When I either press a button on the mouse or keyboard It will try to boot from sleep then it turns off and turns back on to boot from sleep. This process takes about a minute and my computer is very fast running off an ssd. I checked a lot of power options and there isnt a solution I can find. Can somebody help me?

First of all, try shutting it completely off. Then boot it back up and launch CMD(as admin), type "SFC /scannow" and wait for it to finish. Then reboot again and now you shouln't have that problem anymore.
