Question Computer browser closes if you use keyboard to type in a form.

Please help, I'm so sick of this when I get on internet I can use search engine but if I need to type in anything on a website like a password or name the browser closes and goes back to desktop, I've tried resetting Microsoft edge and it did not work. I've even reset computer with new windows and it still does it. I downloaded firefox and I can type forms in it just Microsoft edge doing it. I need windows 10 Microsoft edge for my work VPN but I can not even get on that without it going back to desktop. Is there anyone that would possibly would know why this computer is doing this?

If Firefox works and MS Edge crashes could be a compatibility issue with the websites and MS edge. Once reason I never use MS web browsers.

Thank you, Can you tell me how to change that browser to something else. Its already on computer and I'm seriously thinking of getting a new computer because my work VPN will close on me when trying to log in and it requires windows. Work VPN will not work with firefox probably because it's not main browser.
