Computer build base on my motherboard

Motherboard: Maximus VII Hero
Graphic card: GIGABYTE GEFORCE® GTX 1060 G1 GAMING 6GB GD5
Cpu: i7 4790k
PSU: XFX TS 550W 80+ GOLD
RAM: G.SKILL KIT 16GB (4 X 4GB) DDR3 1600MHZ RIPJAWSX CL9
HDD and SSD: Need advices on these ones.
Cooling: need advices

My objective is to have a good gaming machine but not that expensive(student here). i was hoping to find good advice on my HDD and SSD here and maybe some sugestions for a better build with my motherboard as base since is the only component i have.

tell you the truth for what you'd spend on the 4790k you could get a ryzen 5 and mobo and be up to date with ddr4 and so on.

then you could probably sell that Asus board and add that to the budget. not sure i'd pay that much for an older cpu like that. got a budget in mind? we can offer some new builds with that in mind easy enough.

Without the motherboard and the atx my budget should be around 1200€/1300€ so it would be around 1500€ if i had to buy a new motherboard.

Do you have a good gaming build with this budget?
