That's my pc I intend to build right there.
Compatible? I also welcome suggestions, but just on the optical drive.

Get a 7200RPM drive. that HDD you have is a server storage drive. It will NOT be fast.

That is WAY too much RAM. Get 16gb MAX. If it is for gaming, get 8gb.

I am changing the ram anyway.

Is a Western Digital WD Black 4TB 3.5" alright?

Yes a WD black is a great dive. And 16gb RAM should be the absolute max. 8gb is more than enough if you are gaming. Games use 3.3gb max.

If you are just gaming, Get an i5 4670k. the i7 offers basically nothing in gaming performance over the i5.

I also prefer air coolers because closed loop liquid coolers make alot of noise and don't cool much better than air. They are more for being flashy.

Does the thermal paste come with it as well?
