Okay so I know I'm nowhere near top end level with this build but I thought I should be able to run the programme fine with the build that I have for what I want to do, which is basically montages of game clips for my clan and intros and all that cool stuff that I mostly touch up on GIMP anyway.

I have a computer that I built sporting the best goods fresh air can pay for in this AMAZING
A6-6400k AMD CPU
NVIDIA GeForce 750 1gb GDDR5
ASUS A88XM-A
and 4gb of some Kingston generic that I've just cheaped out on and never bothered to upgrade

I'm having this issue with music play back. Pretty much rendering the damn thing is near impossible without adobe freaking out and crashing. Having looked at the minimum specs. I'm positive my computer would work fine at what I want it to do. My question basically is, why is rendering music for editing impossible? Is it my CPU? RAM? Or does it just sound like I have a bunch of bloatware malware/spyware warioware hogging all my system resources cause I tried using PC Decrapifer and CCleaner and all that good free stuff. Plus ran an antivirus and it came back telling me a plug in for a game on steam was a virus which was complete bull obviously.

What do you guys think? I'm curious as to why my computer wont handle it?

The 860K is the same processor as the A10-7850K but without the graphics, not much faster in the AMD APU lineup. The 860K also overclocks better than the A10. You already have GTX 750 so that covers the graphics portion. The Corsair Vengence is a good choice for ram. Just watch out for the power requirements, the A6 is a 65W processor while the 860K is a 95W processor.

Well I think I know what your problem is. The Mobo is actually a semi-decent FM2+ board and the GT 750 is not a bad video card. But you are trying to do computationally intensive work (read lots of calculations) with a CPU with only two cores. Rendering loves lots of cores. Add to that only 4GB of RAM and I am not surprised it is as slow as molasses. Meeting minimum requirement is not the same as having a usable work environment.

You need to invest in a 4-core CPU, for a little money get an 860K

and for a little more you can get some decent ram at an acceptable amount.

With this CPU and your current board and as long as you have an acceptable PSU, you could even overclock the CPU to get it even faster.

Hi yeah I know I'm a little late, but thanks for the reply I was thinking the same thing as when I do manage to render something playback is so difficult. I was wondering though weather it was worth looking at A10's rather than the Athlon X 4 cause I was going to buy that for my build originally and I plan on getting 2 sticks of 4gb Corsair Vengence this week tbh

Not too much an issue on power consumption, I need to buy a psu using one that came stock with the case was always gonna need an upgrade. Though I don't know much about PSU's so I'll probably just end up buying anything with a 5 star rating on PC part picker. Should probably get a new case now that I think about it. Haha

I'm actually not to sure on the case I mostly think of them like chasis on a car. Whatever looks the best haha, I've had my eye on this BITFENIX AEGIS on eBay but mostly cause its pretty haha

The number one job of a case is to remove all the hot air from it.

Sort of like what my wife does to me...........gives me one look and all the hot air from me goes away

Case looks okay. And there is something to be said about pretty.
