Computer build not powering?

This is my first build and im not sure whats going on. I have the power sw hooked up but when i press it nothing happens. No fans spin no leds light up nothing. so if this a faulty power supply? is this something i just stupidly overlooked? Any help would be great.

You sure you wired everything properly? Your motherboard needs both of 24 and 8 pin cables plugged in.
