Looking to build this pc for primarily gaming. Please evaluate it and tell me its issues.

Will CPU overclock to 4.4? Are the fans overkill/am i getting neutral to positive pressure?

Pretty well balanced build. Might i suggest grabbing a newer 7600K/Z270 board? I doubt it would be much more and it is clocked higher out of the box. Cooler is pretty good for the price i think you would get 4.4 GHz out of the 6600K without a whole lot of worry with temps/instability but i can't say for certain. You seem to be spending a little much on the Case + Fans for airflow which is good don't get me wrong but investing in a better CPU cooler will get you better overclocking maybe grab Corsair AF120 fans instead of the Cryorig for good airflow, cheaper yet still great Corsair case or even another good brand and used the saved money to try get yourself a decent liquid cooler. Hope this helps :)

@need4speeds, the k i5 is about $10 cheaper beacause it performs worse versus Kaby Lake and is lower clocked, the rest are the same price.
Also a $90 cooler on an i5 is just silly.
Case is low quality and the GPU is overpriced, better quality can be had for less, see above.

Yeah, I got notified in another thread, swapped it out already.
Btw in regards to your edits, the CPU cooler is overkill for an i5, a H7 is the most you could hope to take advantage of.
ALso your case is still poor quality and it's $25 over budget. :(

Edit to shave some cash off the build but still keep the i5-6600K and GTX1070. I kept the case, if you read the reviews it comes with 5 case fans.

More case fans does not = quality, it also does not mean the actual case is good.
The fans are most likely poor quality too.
It'll be noisy as all hell with 5 fans additionally, the most you need in a regular case is 3, two intake one exhaust, one intake one exhaust is plenty even as long as the case has decent airflow.

heres the thing, I play mainly CPU intensive games and while I understand that that 7th gen has better tech and is cheaper, the thing is the 6600k will out preform it in almost every occasion once OC

If you want to overclock, I would spend a bit more on a higher spec motherboard, like the Extreme or Fatal1ty series.

No it won't.
The 7700 has a 4.2GHz out of the box boost speed, and has twice as many threads.
Most AAA titles properly utilize 8 threads now, we're no longer in the age of two years ago where games only utilized 2-4 cores on average.
You'll see much higher FPS with the i7 non-k.

Not so much that, but more that the 100 series Pro4 line wasn't that great, a UD3 or something like that would be a better fit.

I did some editing and worked a i7-6700K into the build. Some compromises were made like a more budget ssd, but i opted for a faster 1TB seagate hdd, EVGA 600watt, Micro atx case and smaller and cheaper mini-itx GTX1070.

Well ok Ryzen 1700 8core, 16thread likely doesn't overclock much build vs. i7-6700K locked build.
