Computer build problem

I have recently completed a build with the following completed a build with the following components:
- Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
- Asus PRIME B250M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
- Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
- Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal
- Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB Mini Video Card
- Cooler Master N300 ATX Mid Tower Case
-EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply.

However the PC wont turn on, i have checked the 'My computer wont turn on' forum and still nothing. the motherboard lights up but no fans spin or anything.

That probably means the power supply connectors are not seated properly. You will need to make sure, to get the fans spinning. Also make sure the RAM sticks are in the correct slots/channel.

I have made sure that the connectors are properly seated, I have also tried with the RAM sticks in each slot, any other ideas? thanks for the speedy response

There is no sound or anything, however when plugged the motherboard does light up

I am getting exactly the same issue. Did you get your problem sorted? If so how did you figure it out.
