I haven't figure out which cooling unit I want and I'm on the fence about the case. I don't even know why cases come with so many internal and external drive bays. Who uses a drive bay these days? What I am really interested in is maximum air flow to keep everything running cool. I also don't need a new power supply since I'm just going to transfer the one I have over to it. And a case with lots of 3.0 USB ports on the front and back. As for the MOB on newegg it says it supports 8th gen CPU but then in the advertisement portion it says it supports 9th gen so I assume it does right?

Solution
Oh that explains it then. Thanks for clarifying. I'll continue my search for a MOB then.
This would be a more realistic 9900K + 2080 ti build, though im sure you can cut like 200-300 dollars if you either compromised or waited for sales.

Solution
Great suggestions BTW. Final question. What was wrong with the monitor I chose?
There was nothing "wrong" per se, but for that price there are many monitors that are just better. For instance, the monitor you chose was a VA panel with 4ms and I believe 144 hz made by Dell if I remember correctly. The one I chose cost 100 dollars less was a VA panel with 4 ms and 165 hz and the same 31.5 inches from imo a better monitor company.

Don't pair anything other than Z390 motherboards with a 9900K. It consumes more power than even the R9 3900X, heck it consumes almost the same power as the TR 2920X. Pairing it with mid-range boards like the Z370 or the B365 will bake the VRMs as they're often 4 or 6-phase VRMs. I recommend the Z390 from Gigabyte, as they're using 12 phase VRMs on their Z390 boards.

As for the memory, 3000 MHz is totally fine for an Intel gaming system. The GPU, however, I'm afraid will have space issues as you are using the H150i. The Masterbox MB520 isn't exactly a big case, and will likely not support 280mm + 140mm radiators at the same time. If you want to do it, you can look at cases that are bigger, for example the Bequiet Dark Base 700.

The PSU that you have already must be a good unit. Your system might consume north of 600W if overclocked. For the monitor, I'm not too good at it, so I won't comment on it.

So Here's my pick:
