I'm building a new PC in preparation for Cyberpunk 2077. What do you think of this build?
Here is my build on newegg.com: https://secure.newegg.com/wishlist/sd/AiEv___leBZbuUm3UM2zWgWQ==
Every time I've upgraded my computer I've always purchased a motherboard that can support the most current gen CPU which I believe right now is the 10th gen right? I also have on there the 10th gen CPU. Thoughts on the ram I chose?
I also always double the ram every time I upgrade. So right now I have 16gb which is fine but 5 years from now who knows maybe 16 is now the standard? I like to have more than what becomes the standard for ram but perhaps it's overkill? Now I am thinking 32gb.
Thoughts on the case?
I'm not planning to do much overclocking beyond what is capable with EVGA Precision X1 and I already have a multiple solid state hard drives for my PC.
For the videocard I am thinking of getting an EVGA 3080 when its available although I am unsure which of the 3080s to get yet. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated.
BTW if I were to just connect all my existing hard drives to the new hardware would that cause any issues or would it be better if I loaded a fresh copy of Windows onto it? I'm just trying to avoid the pain in the butt of reinstalling everything.
