Hi guys,

One of my friends will be getting a new computer soon, with a budget of 1000$. He wants to get AMD Ryzen processors
He is going to use the computer mainly for gaming, do you have any recommendations for the rest of the computer components?

While the Ryzen 5000 series would be nice. That $100 difference will really hinder selection of other parts. If your friend is willing to take a significant GPU cut or bump the budget a little. I'd recommend the Ryzen 5600x.
