Note: If you live in Denver, you can buy the CPU at Microcenter and also save $50 on the motherboard. If not, you will have to buy both from Newegg.

This build has a better CPU (ability to overclock), a way better GPU (GTX 670 vs 7850), a better SSD (more reliability), and a bigger hard drive to store your stuff. However, it lacks a card reader, feel free to add one if you want.

Do not get that build (from Cyberpower).

you need to get a branded PSU, nothing labeled "standard" or "major brand".

Other than that it looks ok. change the RAM, GPU, and MOST IMPORTANTLY the PSU to a brand of your choice. i like HyperX, EVGA, and Corsair, respectively.

also, i would remove the card reader. its junk and takes a whole 5.25 bay (and they don't give you the cover). get one on newegg for like 6 bucks...

i changed the ram and the power supply, why change the GPU? the 7850 performs great for the price, unless you have another reccomendation...

Oh... no. not the GPU itself, but change the 7850 to a "brand", is what i meant. i mean, its more like insurance against getting some no-name brand GPU. but i've heard people not selecting it and still getting the EVGA overlocked and i;ve heard people getting a brand of GPU they never heard of. its a crap shoot and completely up to you. but the PSU change was most important.

the card reader too... its crap.
