Computer but does not beep

I built a computer, been using it for a few days. But it does not beep.

Like my old computers used to beep upon turning on and if there were failures and such.

Did I miss anything when i attached the wires?

You need to connect a speaker to the speaker connector that is part of the Front panel header on your motherboard. Without it, you get no beeps.

Take a look at this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812201032. You should have gotten one of these with your case or your motherboard.
