I can't turn my computer on for 2 months and It's driving me insane. I pretty much tried everything, One day I am playing my PC game and then all of a sudden it just turn off like the power button has been unplugged. I tried to turn it on and nothing happened, I thought it must be my power supply but I just bought it less than 2 months ago. Long story short I replaced my Graphic card, PSU, Motherboard, RAM, except for my CPU

Now when I press the power button I see a quick flash of LED from my fan and then nothing else happened, I tried clearing my CMOS and then turn it on again and this time my computer fan turn on for a good 5 to 7 sec with 4 FAST beep and then turned off. 4 beep means system timer failure so I replace my RAM but still nothing happened. I reapply my CPU thermal paste and see if that's the problem but still won't work.

I clear the CMOS one more time and this time it go back to the fan flash for 1 sec then nothing happened.

SO did I clear the CMOS too much and mess it up? And what other way can I do to turn my computer on. I don't think my CPU is the problem but it could be.

Solution
Take the motherboard out of the case and place it on a cardboard box.
Hook up your motherboard power connector and Cpu power connector. Leave your Cpu in and one stick of ram. Now connect the motherboard to a monitor and use a paperclip or screwdriver to jump the power button pins together. This will hopefully get the motherboard to post.

The purpose of doing this is to eliminate as many variables as possible.
Let me know how you go.
