Computer case and motherboard sync

Hi im not sure if it specifies this in the manual because I didnt see it but does anyone know where the hdd led plug and power sw plug from my phanteks ethoo evolv atx tempered glass case go on my maximus ix formula motherboard?
I want to be able to sync the rgbs together with aura sync but when I open the aura application it doesnt detect my leds from my computer case
As of right now the hdd led and the power sw are plugged into the bottom right of my motherboard where it says hdd led and pwr btn

Aura or any SW will not control HDD and Power LEDs. For LED case lights that MB has 2 "RGB_LED_Strap" connectors. They give 12v and control LEDs are 3.3 - 5v and would burn up if you connect them anywhere else.

so i need to use the rgb_led_straps on the power sw and the Hdd led plug?

No, those two should be left in appropriate places in front IO panel on the MB. Those are indicator lights for Power and Disk activity respectively.
