I am going to get an ASRock extreme4 motherboard that supports USB 3.0, but the case I want for this is the Coolermaster Elite 430 Black (http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6654) which, according to the website, only has 2x USB 2.0 ports. My motherboard supports several USB 3.0 ports, but what do you have to do to actually use them? If the answer is that the ports come with the motherboard then topic is closed, but I'm new to building computers and don't really know what to expect.

Thanks a lot for the help!

The ports are at the back of the motherboard. Look in the pictures of the MB, they are the blue USB ports.

Some cases come with cables that extend those to the front. But not the case you are looking at getting.

What motherboard are you getting? Some have a USB3 header on them that lets you run additional USB3 ports to the front of the case.

If the MB you want has this feature I would suggest getting a case that support USB 3 on front panel.
