I just built a new computer 3 weeks ago and everything worked fine until a week ago when my computer started freezing at random. It freezes even when the CPU is not under any load/ovsr heated. When I first built the computer my CPU overheated and my computer shut down but it worked fine after I fixed the CPU cooler.
Specs:
MSI 970 gaming motherboard (used)
AMD fx8350 CPU (used)
GTX 1050ti
500w power supply

I think that power supply then is the first thing I'd swap out. The FX 8350 can pull 125 watts by itself. I think the 1050ti is 75. Still should work. I don't know Nick on apevia power supplies, but their cases usually seem to be on the lower end of the spectrum. So I'm guessing their power supplies are the same.

I'm willing to guess though if you change out the power supply with a quality unit from EVGA, Corsair, seasonic, etc, that a lot of the issues you're having with your PC will vanish.
