Computer Components, are these all compatible?

Hey, I was planning on upgrading my current, low-spec PC so that it could actually smoothly run current games. Here is a list of all the components I plan to use to upgrade it, I already have some which will be recycled from my current PC:


GA-M68MT-D3P Gigabyte Motherboard, AM3+ but has a Nvidia chipset -- Already have

500GB HDD Hard drive, with windows 7 Home Premium -- Already have

8GB (2x4GB) RAM, not sure of make -- Already have

XFX P1-550S-XXB9 PRO550W Core Edition Power Supply

BitFenix Shinobi Midi-Tower Case

EVGA Nvidia GTX550Ti 1GB

AMD FX 4170 Processor - 4.2GHz, SKT AM3+, 12MB, 125W + Arctic Cooling Alpine 64 Pro CPU Cooler -- Already have.

Are these all compatible with each other? And would I have sufficient power?
I am also wondering what fans to get as the Shinobi Case has multiple fan options. It can have two 120mm fans in the front, one 120mm in floor and two 140/120mm in roof, with one 120mm rear exhaust fan.

Yes, the RAM is DDR3.

And damn, but thanks. Can't believe I overlooked that, I think I'd choose:

AMD HDZ965FBGMBOX Phenom II X4 965 - 3.4 Ghz AM3 Black Edition CPU

I suppose £350 max for all of the new components, but I have also decided to get the ASUS 560 TI (1GB) Graphics card instead of the EVGA 550 TI (1GB)- which for me, is currently only £20 more expensive. If it fits, and the 550w PSU is powerful enough then I don't see why not.

But my biggest concern is the cooling. All I know is what size of fan to buy, but I have no idea how to connect them- I'm not bothered with that PWM fan stuff.

Get a 7770 ghz at 71£ which is bettervthan both

Get cooler master sickle flow fans and a hyper 212 evo cpu cooler
Fan placement should be
Front,bottom and side fans should be intake
Top and rear fans should b exhaust

Thanks! The only thing I'm not sure of is the wiring for the fans, if they are 3 or 4 pin, or where to plug then into. The PSU comes with these:
1 x 4+4pin CPU +12V
6 x 4pin Molex
1 x 6+2pin PCI-E Power
1 x 6pin PCI-E Power
1 x 8pin CPU +12V
2 x FDD Power
9 x SATA Power.
This is the only thing now bothering me.

Look some fans can be put to the mobo maybe 3/4
Then u can connect the rest through molex connector from the psu
