Hello folks of Tom's Hardware,

I have made a thread a while back and I am still getting the hang of posting here, so my apologies if I haven't posted correctly. In any case, I am still still trying to figure out what could be causing my problem as these freezes are a big problem in my life.

PC Specs:
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bits
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-9590 Eight-Core Processor (8 CPUs), ~4.7GHz
Memory: 16GB RAM (two Patriot - Viper 3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 Memory)
GPU: AMD Radeon (TM) R9 380 Series
Motherboard: 990FX-Gaming (v1.1)
Power Supply: Akasa Viper Modular Power Supply 700W
Water Cooler: WaterCooler Corsair H115i Hydro Series 140mm CW-9060027-WW

I will update if I forgot anything.

Quick recap of what I have done so far:
Format my pc around 3 times. Minor improvements when I do.
Tested both memories. No errors.
Changed my CPU for a similar, but a model with far less use. No change.
Changed my motherboard to version 1.1 (previous one was 1.0)
Changed my power supply three times due to external circumstances. No changes.
Tried a different GPU, changed my current one for a Geforce GTX 960. Still freezes.
Opened original GPU, cleaned and applied new thermal paste. No change.
Replaced thermal paste more than once on CPU. No change.

I also checked event viewer to see what errors show up before the PC just freezes. It does point out I shut it down holding the power button, but it doesn't seem to show anything else, as if no error happened to make it fully freeze.

To describe it a bit more, there is just no real pattern to the freezes. It will usually freeze when I play games like HoI4 or after playing Monster Hunter World for a good while. Other times (very rarely) I can just keep playing non-stop. It won't freeze. Graphic intensive games such as Rainbow Six Siege won't freeze at all though. After a freeze, when I turn it on, it can freeze shortly after loading my profile.

I will try to reply as fast as I can. This is something that has been an issue for more than a year now. Thanks in advance for any replies guys!

I apologise for not making that clear. It is the pair that was sold. If it helps I did also test with a different pair from another computer, but I removed the current one within my PC to see if it that could be the issues. No changes.
