Computer crash black screen blue bottom

Every time I try to use my canon MP560 wireless printer to either print or scan my HP 3765 laptop with Vista sp2 crashes displaying a black screen, with a blue strp across the bottom. No failures are logged and Windows Resource Checker shows no errors. It did show errors but fixed them and a rescan shows no errors but the machine still crashes. My Think Pad with XP works fine with the same router and printer.

Things have worked fine Nov 09 to Sept28, 2010. Since that date problems. I have reinstalled canon drivers and I think Windows Resource Checker looks at all of the Vista ones. It did find 40 some errors, but shows to have fixed them all on rescan. It fiwes corrupted files by replacing them. I have to wonder how I got 40 corrupted files.
