Computer crashed during vista install

Hello, when i boot the system starts up and then it comes to a black screen saying.. File c:\systemsav\logs\MUI_FU_Start_chk.log already exists. overwrite yes or no both yes and no dont work it says the program cant start because msvbvm60.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem and it wont let me install any os

you need to perform a clean install which means formatting the drive erasing all previous data, it's obvious you have a corruption..
