Computer crashes after bios screen after installing new parts

Today I received two new parts for my computer:

Asus sabertooth z77 motherboard

Intel i5 3570k ivy bridge

These are my old specs:

Phenom 1090t be

Asus motherboard evo

Gtx 460

8gb gskill rip jaws 1333 MHz

750 watt ocz zs series

Upon adding the ne parts, the bios screen boots successfully, but the moment it begins to start windows, it blue screens and returns to the beginning. Are one of the new parts damaged?

it crashes because the hdd still has the install and drivers related to the x6 and asus motherboard for am3. To use ur i5 u need to reinstall windows, back up any info u need, and start fresh, u can only use the same windows install for a new cpu on the same motherboard
