I have been having occasional crashes on my computer over the past year and they have become more frequent in the past week or so, 5 so far today 3 of which were in the last 25 minutes

The crashes always start with the screen going black with audio still being played (music) then a few moments later the computer will reboot.

As far as I can think of it has been whilst playing a game but I couldn't say for certain that it hasn't happened when not playing a game.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age (two years?) condition?

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, and jumpers are fully and firmly in place.

Inspect for signs of damage, bare conductor showing, melted insulation, pinched or kinked wires, swollen or discolored components,etc..

Blackened or browned areas on or near components.
