Psu- 750 watts (Corsair CX750M)

The current issue is that the computer shuts down exactly every 30 mins. There is no sign of error or blue screen whatsoever. When I boot it up again it runs normally, but then crash again at 30 mins mark.

Note: I did not put the computer together myself and I am not a computer guy, technology- idiot essentially. Also the pc is quite loud.

Hi

Is this an instant loss of power?
An orderly windows shutdown?
Or the system hangs and does not respond to any keyboard or mouse input?

I once sorted out a laptop with a corrupted CMOS which shutdown after 256 seconds from switch on . Only just enough time for windows to get to the desktop

With desktop you can reset the CMOS with a jumper, with laptops you often have to unsolder the CMOS coin battery

By no sign of error do you mean visible error message or nothing in any error logs

The computer just lose power completely, which means the pc itself shuts down instantly to black screen. Also the pc crash no matter what I'm doing, either idling or while playing games.

The temperatures seem to be normal, around 34-36 Celsius for the CPU

I never mentioned temperatures, but rather % resources available used. I'm just curious if you're running out of resources since that is a possible cause for these symptoms.

My bad, but uhm the percentages are under 20% most of the time and no there was not a noticeable resource intensifies.

Okay, so running out of resources isn't an option then... You can check to see what the error code is in windows logs and post it here, that would help. Beyond that my initial recommendation is to try a clean OS install so we can eliminate software issues and move on to hardware troubleshooting (I realize that for most this is overkill and not desirable but it is one of the simplest ways to troubleshoot these kind of issues so it should be considered).

Max speed for the CPU is 3.90 GHz, I don't think anything is overclocked?
Also Windows 8.1 was installed like 5 days ago? And the crashing has been going on for almost 2 months
