Computer crashes randomly

My computer crashes randomly and sometimes says we're collecting data and need to restart. I have a feeling it's the GPU but I'm not sure.

CORE 2 Quad Q8400
4gb DDR2
R7 250
250gb hdd
350w psu
Currently on cardboard box because my case got a scratched side panel

That PSU is not one of the better ones. Based on the age of the other components, I would say that it(PSU) has seen its better days and needs to be replaced. You might want to consider a new build instead of repairing your current PC. You would have newer technology and a warranty, not to mention considerably improved performance!

Well I once replaced the psu with an antec 350w that was brand new and still had the same problem and I returned it. The way i fixed it last time was putting it on cardboard but that has worked this time around.

Not all Antec PSUs are the same quality. I would recommend a 500watt PSU from tier one or two on this list:

I built a PC and every couple hours it will just have a black screen with blue eyes and make a weird sound after I disabled reset on failure. How to fix this random crash?

Specs:
Core 2 Quad Q8400
4gb DDR2
Intel DB43LD
R7 250
250gb hdd
350w power supply
I have it on a cardboard box for now because I am in the middle of modding the case (just taking out Drive cages and making space for radiator)

How to fix this random crash?
depends on what causes it. Have you looked at logs?
