Question Computer crashes to blue and blank screen

This is my first post so if it’s in the wrong subject please move it into the correct one. I have a dell laptop, it was my grandfathers, he recently passed and I inherited the computer. I have been trying to Go on chrome and play games online but when I get into something like YouTube, the computer crashes and shows a dark blue screen with no words and requires a reboot because I am not able to click out of it. Can somebody please help me with this issue thank you very much!!

What version of Windows does the laptop have installed? What is the make/model of the laptop?
