I would really appreciate some help on this. When I render in 3ds Max or Maya (vray), my computer crashes about 40-60 minutes into it (sometimes). I get the blue screen of death with this error:

***STOP: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF80002FB49BC, 0XFFFFF88003B393D8, 0xFFFFF88003B38C30)

I am going out of my mind!

Computer specs: Specs:
CPU: i7 3930k
Motherboard: Asus Rampage iv Extreme
Memory: 32gb Corsair Vengeance ram
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 780
Liquid Cooling: Corsair H100i
PSU: Cooler Master 1000w Silent Pro Gold
Case: Cooler Master Storm Styker

Thanks in advance!

Try running something else that taxes your CPU up to 100% for extended periods of time. (Prime95?) If you have something that can do so, log your CPU temperature. It is possible your CPU is overheating and takes that long to completely overcome CPU throttling. You may also want to monitor your memory usage, depending on the render you're doing.
Go make a bootable Memtest disk and run that overnight, or possibly longer. My first guess would be that there's a bad sector or two hidden in your DIMMs and it only causes problems when rendering because that's the only task that uses enough of that 32GB for it to be noticeable.

I ran a mem test and it said that everything was fine. What else should I try? I think it has to do with the cpu, because it only happens when the cpu is put to work hard... such as rendering. What do you think? I read someone that increasing the voltage might solve it? Is that safe?
