Computer crashing constantly...

Hiya,
So recently my computer has been suddenly freezing and then crashing and im not sure why. It only occurs when im doing something visually intensive such as playing a game or watching a HD video which leads me to think that its to do with my graphics card. I have tested the temperature of the graphics card and its usually about 36 degrees celcius.
So im at a loss here and its really annoying. Can anyone help please?

It could also be your PSU, if the GPU is used in intense gaming, where a lot of power is drawn both from GPU and CPU, it is known that faulty PSU can cause random BSOD, freezing and restarting.

Oh right thank you for replying! Would you suggest that I have my PSU checked at a local computer shop or just buy a new one? (I have never done anything with a PSU before).
