So, my PC has been crashing randomly with no obvious cause, usually when I am away, or asleep overnight, but sometimes while I’m using it.
When I get to my computer, it usually just looks like this: View: https://imgur.com/gallery/9Ce7Frj
and then I hit the reset button, and it loads perfectly fine.

Reliability history only tells me “windows was not shut down properly”, ive done memtest, and stress tested the video card and cpu, all produced no errors.

My graphics drivers, Windows 10, and bios are up to date.

Specs:
  • ROG Crosshair VII Hero
  • Ryzen 2700X
  • thermaltake floe 360mm liquid cooling
  • Radeon Vega 64, asus ROG strix version
  • thermaltake toughpower grand rgb 850W
  • 32Gb DDR4 3000mhz corsair vengeance rgb
  • asus rog strix keyboard
  • asus balteus rgb mousepad
  • asus origin 2 mouse
  • a fan controller with 9 fan on it
  • 3 more fans powered by the motherboard

I only built this thing a year and a half ago. Its been crashing like this for months now.

here are some max temperatures i screen grabbed after gaming for a bit. Apparently that high VDDC VR temp is common for Vega Strix cards?

Event viewer also does not tell me anything besides it wasn't shut down properly.

Solution
Anyway you maybe can test with another gpu? Or psu? Maybe a friend willing to help out or a local store ...

The ram is from one kit?

Did you ever discover the issue causing this?
I'm having a very similar problem right now as well...
