Hi, i'm trying to figure out why my computer keeps crashing while gaming. For the past few months it has been shutting off without warning in the middle of Counter-strike matches (not sure what video preset it's been on, whatever the default one is) and only just today shut off without warning in War Thunder with these http://imgur.com/XJSpDPd graphics settings.
EDIT: Also shuts off during Bad Company 2 at the max preset

I figured it might be something power supply-related since it happens without warning and doesn't include a blue screen, just a complete power off.

Computer is in the signature but
AMD 8350 (with stock cooler
2TB 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda
ASUS XONAR DG 5.1 soundcard
Silencer MKII 750W PSU
16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz RAM (Red)
Sapphire Vapor-X 7970 Ghz Edition 3GB

What is your PSU and rest of pc specs? What are your temps under load? try running furmark.

1. What does Event Viewer say ?

2. Have you done any stress testing ?

A) Run RoG Real Bench for 2 hours and monitor temps and voltages on cores, 3.3, 5 and 12 volt rails.

B) Run Furmark for 30 minutes and monitor temps and voltages on GPU, 3.3, 5 and 12 volt rails.

Use HWiNFO for voltage and temp measurements.
