computer cut off and now nothing happens

i was using curse talk, talking to my friends while making a powerpoint, next thing i know my computer goes blank, the green light on the motherboard is on whilst nothing happens when i press the power button or the bios button on the motherboard.

motherboard: asus sabertooth 990fx
processor: amd fx 8350
gpu: msi gtx 970
power supply: cx750m

So, power it down, and start it up again.

That's just it, you cannot start it. Nothing happens

Try shorting the pins on the motherboard to try to start it up. I think your motherboard is maybe dead.

Which pins should I short? And how should I go about doing so?

The ones where the power switch plugs into. A screw driver works. You can Google for how to do it, it's pretty simple. Just make sure to have the power supply off when working on the computer, though it'll have to be on when you short the pins.
