no. Is there a way to install the os without a disc?

Is there any way to install windows without a disc? (I don't have a disc drive on my computer)

You either have to fit an optical drive on your PC (A computer without one is pretty lame anyway these days so fit one).

Or you can install the OS from a USB pen drive if you know how to do it. I'm afraid I can't help you there as I've never needed to do it that way. It's much easier to install an optical drive and then use it to install Windows direct from the DVD.

Well I do have a drive, but it's stuck in my prebuilt case. I took out the screws, now it comes out a bit, but gets stuck on something and I can't figure out what it is.

But a usb pen drive. What is it? Is it just those usb sticks that you plug in the front of your pc? Cause in my bios settings theres a thing where i can install from a usb flash drive.
