So, this is my first time asking for help online because I can normally solve issues by myself. I'll give the system details at the end
To start out, a few months ago I clean installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit onto a brand new SSD, (Crucial MX500 1tb). Since then I have updated all the drivers completely but have had a continuing problem for several months. Whenever I connect online for games (Starcraft 2, Dreadnought, or even direct IP connections to friends) I can always manage to play the game for about 10-20 minutes before i get disconnected.
At first i thought it was an issue with the ISP, however I checked another computer and played games on it without any issue for hours. Both were connected by Ethernet. I have since tried several usb wireless, PCIe Nic cards, and wireless cards to connect but all have the same issue.
I have done IP pings and noticed that there is no issue until I play games, where I see a few packet losses. I ran the Realtek diagnostic tool for networks and kept getting an IRQ failure (conlfict with another device), but when I check Device manager I do not see any conflicts and when I check IRQs my Realtek GbE controller is on its own IRQ (-2). I cannot change any IRQs in my BIOS, though I don't think I would.
I have tried for months and have done many different things over and over again but have still seen this problem. Chances are I have tried almost all of the common solutions but I need ideas. Feel free to ask any and all questions and I will tell you whatever I can. God knows its probably something simple...
WINDOWS 7 Ultimate 64bit
Gigabyte ga78lmt-usb3 mother board v6
AMD FX-8310 3400 MHZ
GTX 750 ti
20 Gb DDr3 1333 RAM
CRUCIAL MX500 1Tb SSD
EDIT: Just looked at my IRQs in System information and it says that the Realtek GbE controller is IRQ 4294967294 but under my device manager it says the IRQ is -2. I do not know if that is an issue or not.
