About 50% of the time when I or my wife goes to press the power button on the front of the computer , it fails to start. The internals will briefly light up like they are powering up then .....it stops. In every case this solves the problem:
1) turn off the power supply
2) unplug the power
3) plug back in
4) turn power supply switch back on
5) computer turns on just fine
The computer has no other issues and the power does not fluctuate even if used for 12 hours straight playing Diablo3 and WoW.
Because of this I have the computer on my desk rather than under the desk. I need that space back! Any idea what the heck is the issue? And no I do not have a spare power supply lying around to swap in.
