I’m looking for some advice on what exactly went wrong with my computer and what components must be replaced.
I was playing Witcher 3 and I believe my system was getting quite hot but I never placed any mind to it as it’s gone through a lot since the system is quite old. Then my system turned off and would not turn back on. It does not reach the bio and it shows no sign of life. However, when the psu is turned on the gpu still lights up so I assume that the psu is fine? and that it’s more of a motherboard/cpu problem. Is there anyway for me to isolate what component is damaged? Any advise would be appreciated.
System specs:
-ASUS GTX 1060 gpu
-MSI 970 motherboard
-Fx-8350 cpu
-8gb ddr3 ram
