[SOLVED] Computer doesn’t turn on

Hi guys.
I’ve got this problem, when I press the power button on my pc it doesn’t turn on.
But when I switch the psu button off and then on it starting for 3 seconds (fans spinning and motherboard sound)then turn off again.
What could be the problem ? What steps I need to take to solve this?

Never mind, I fixed it, I turned the psu on and then unplugged the power button cable from the motherboard and it jumpstart the computer and worked, probably a faulty cable if someone can explain why it’s happend and future generations will have this fix thanks

Sounds like the power button/cable is faulty or it's on the wrong jumper.
The fans start for 3 seconds is normal when the power is unexpectedly cut (by flipping the PSU switch).

Yes it was the cable
