Computer doesnt boot after BIOS update for VMWARE

Hello everyone,

Im really new to VMware, today i installed it everything went fine untill i received an error saying that i couldnt emulate a 64 bits OS because i didnt activate my intel virtualization ( see here http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/mic...guage=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1003944 ) so i enabled that in my BIOS tried to restart and since that my computer dont restart, i hear my Hard drive booting everything is fine but no video input, i then tried to clear my CMOS on my Asus P8P67-M PRO ( using these 3 methods http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdHH9KrceR0 ) I aslo tried to unplug one of my ram, my ssd drive, unpluged/plugged my video card tried to boot on my Win7 windows CD and nothing seems to fix my problem still no video input, i'm kinda desperate at the moment... Anyone can help me please?

I also tried to plug an old video card i had and that gives the same result still no video input... :-/

VMWare is a company that has a large catalog of products. Can you please clarify what product you installed and what version of that product you installed

so i enabled the intel virtualization on my BIOS saved and reboot and computer never rebooted... or at least i dont see it...

Okay. That's a little strange. Try using Asus's Flashback utility to update your firmware from a USB stick. This will also reset the settings. You can find out how to do this in your motherboard manual

All Asus motherboards have either CrashFree BIOS or Flashback, yours should at least have CrashFree.

I extracted the ROM file ( Version 3608 ) to my formatted USB key, plugged it on my computer and nothing happens at all , tried to boot on my Windows 7 / UBCD (ultimate boot cd) nothing works, i tried also to unplug both of my hard ( one is SSD ) one at a time and both still no video input , i'm desperate now lol

Well ***, if crashfree failed you may have to call Asus

oh man i'm so pissed i just changed a freaking option in the BIOS and here i am without computer ... well anyway thanks for the help

Did you try just getting back into Bios and resetting defaults, Start, then spam press DEL key, Then F5 and save and reboot? And the safest way to flash Asus Bios is with EZ flash 2, reached through the tools section of your Bios. That's where board will read the bios Rom. Be sure it's the only thing on the stick that's fat32 formatted and rename to a max 8 char name. P867.ROM. Stick needs to be inserted before you start computer and hit DEL key. Go to tools and wait for ROM to appear may take a min.

i can not get into the BIOS i get no video input message so i dont see anything on my screen and yeah for the EZ flash i did rename the .ROM to a fat 32 formatted name but still no video input so it doesnt solve my problem unfortunately
