I upgraded my CPU from a socket LGA 1151 i3-7100 to a socket LGA 1151 i5-7600. After I changed it I tried to boot my computer and nothing happened. I've tried so many different tactics to try and get it to work. I've tried everything from reseating the cpu to changing the RAM. When I tried to use my old i3 the computer still didn't boot. My system is:
i5-7600
8GB DDR4 RAM (one module)
Gigabyte B250M-DS3H for my MOBO
Coolmax GREEN POWER 500W PSU
Asus Dual GTX 1060 (I've tried to boot with and without this)

I tried for 4 hours to try and get it to work.

Just turn off the power supply or unplug the computer, take out the battery on the motherboard, and hold the power button down for a second. Then pop it back in, turn on the power supply, and try booting again. Keep in mind that if you bent any pins in the socket while installing the CPU then you have bigger problems.

Checking the socket for bent pins was one of the first things i did. I didn't see any that were bent luckily.
