For Christmas I got the:
Asrock ab350 pro4
Ryzen 5 2600x
1x16 GB ram
1060 Asus Turbo 6gb
VS 550
Everything was going fine until I wanted more performance out of my CPU since it has a boost clock of 4.25.
I ordered the NZXT Kraken m22 so that I could overclock to 4Ghz.
I installed everything and it was all going fine until I started my computer and went to install the RGB app for nzxt which is when my pc suddenly stopped and fans went to 100. My first thoughts were that water had leaked into my power supply (Me assuming the worst) and switched my pc off.
After trying to turn it back on this is what happened:
I click the power button and fans go,
The monitor can detect an input for about a millisecond then loses it, but it doesn't display anything.
After around 30 seconds it restarts and this process just keeps on going.
GPU and CPU LED AND RGB Still lights up.
Do not have a motherboard speaker.
I just call this a boot loop without the boot because it doesn't even boot into BIOS.
The other parts I have had for around 2-3 years now:
Power Supply: VS 550 - 3+ years old, wouldn't be surprised if it broke somehow during cooler installation
GPU: 1060 Asus Turbo 6gb
Storage: Just SSD and HHD - Wouldnt make sense since it doesn't even boot
Things I have tried
Reseating GPU and RAM
I even took the ram out and tried starting it and the same thing happened
Have replaced the graphics card with some old one I had to no success
Tried Clearing CMOS, cleaning battery and using the jumper
unplugging all fans + CPU cooler - the Same thing happened (was testing power consumption)
Unplugging and replugging cables such as CPU power and that fat one on the right
Now that I think of it, my pc has been through hell!
I accidentally poured coke on the top once and everything was covered yet it was still running. (Before new stuff Still had the vs 550 tho :0) - DW everything is cleaned now.
I honestly have no idea why my computer isn't working!
Please help!
