Computer doesn't boot properly

Hey guys,

my PC won't boot properly. It tries to start but turns off again after a few seconds. I can solve this problem by removing the power cord for a minute. But this is only a temporary fix.
What i've tried so far:

- replaced my mainboard and power supply
- temporarily replaced my RAM
- temporarily removed my graphics card and everything i dont need to start the system
- replaced the case switches

The only thing what's left is the CPU but i was told that it is very unusual for the cpu to die and i dont have a spare one to verify this.

My system:
- ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer
- Intel Core i5 4670k
- ASUS R9 290 Direct CU II
- 16GByte Kingston HyperX DDR3-1866 RAM
- Western Digital Green 1TB HDD
- BeQuiet Dark Power Pro P11 550W PSU

"I can solve this problem by removing the power cord for a minute" sounds like a bad PSU as that's the only thing you reset by pulling the plug out of the wall.
