Computer doesnt recognize Graphics card.

Ok first things first I have been running this graphics card for about 3 months brand new, I even used it this morning. I updated the drivers a week or two ago, and now when I turned it on ..... nothing, had to go from my hdmi on my mobo to my tv. I tried reinstalling drivers and all that, still didn't work so I figured maybe I would change the pcie slot, to no avail. The card is powerd up and fans on it are spinning.

So tldr version. Why would a working graphics card stop being recognized?

Because it failed or because the slots on the board failed. Can you try the card in another computer?

Yeah if you could detail us your computer configuration we might be able to help you...

The problem is most likely a PSU, motherboard or GPU issue.

Most likely the graphics card died.

I would hope not its all less then 4 months old. Tried the card on another comp and it works, tried that graphics card on this computer and it works. guessing a software problem.

That is strange but most likely connection problem between the slot and the card. If we new what hardware we are dealing with we may get better insight.

What PSU are you running? That's always a possible culprit.
As others have said... specs would help.

Its a nvidia gtx 770 with a maximus VI hero MOBO. corsair 750 psu.

And what card works? If lower power maybe the 750watt Corsair is failing.

Try this, plug the video card in but don't screw it in the case let it hang just make sure it doesn't hang too long so it won't break the slot. If it works then let it sit like that in furmark for some time then screw it in. Thermals should do the rest.
