I have an SSD and two hard drives. I normally only use one HDD through a USB so i can promptly change between drives. Recently I've been trying to get them both inside my computer for faster data transfer, but i'm having trouble with the bigger drive.

The HGST drive works perfectly when i plug it through the USB hub (as can be seen from the picture) but when i connect it through SATA it doesn't work. My computer says the drive is unallocated in disk management.

I've tried (accidentally) initializing and allocating the drive in the past with no success, only thing i got out of that was a forced format and hours and hours of recovering the lost data (the drive didn't work with SATA even after it was formatted). I tried all the SATA ports and a different cable, but it's just not getting recognized. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this?

If you don't have uefi bios , forget about it , take it to a local it pc service , and tell them , you want it formated , and partitioned in 2 2tb partitions (i assume it's a 4tb drive)
