Computer doesn't wake up when it's asleep!!

Hello,

So I've noticed a lot of the times when I manually put my computer in sleep mode while I leave for a couple of hours and then come back, it doesn't respond to a mouse move or keyboard touch. The LED on my mouse and keyboard light up but the power button light just remains flashing and nothing running inside the actual tower. It will not shut off even if I physically hold down the power button to force it off, leading me to actually turn the PSU off. Once I turn it back on, sometimes it's even left off where I was when I put it to sleep.

Any ideas?
