I am currently going to school for computer engineering and I was wondering if there were any people out there that could offer some advice on how to succeed. I wont say that I am looking for a mentor but some advice would be nice. It was a rough semester and I guess im just looking for some motivation lol. any advice at all will be appreciated.

Try balancing courses with a combination of tough courses and relatively easy courses. This way you are not being stressed out with all tough courses each semester. This was my approach in grad school and it helped a lot! All degreed programs take dedication and hard work.

Ive been lucky enough, being a transfer student, that I am able to take 4 or 5 courses a semester. Im finding that the real challenge is relearning how to learn since I have been out of full time school for 4 years. I am now in my second year in college and just now getting back into it. I just seem to have a problem making school and studying my life when I spent my former adult years separating home from work. Its really only the exams that get to me, I have a terrible time with them. Thats why Im spending this summer learning as much about my future classes as possible to get a head start.

Ain't no shame in getting Dummies books! Also, AP Prep books work wonders. Concise, cheap, and much easier to read than the textbooks. It feels like magic when you finally understand something difficult!
