Question Computer enters sleep mode

Hi,

I had an idle computer and recently bought some parts to get it going again.
I got a new Corsaid power supply and 2x 4gb sticks of ram, all other parts are same as before.
But when I power on the computer, it seems to go straight to sleep mode, the monitor won't detect the hdmi, so i have no display at all.
I tried removing the cmos battery (also replaced), shorted rhe CLRTC, tried without gpu, all other PCIe slots and tried without ram, and with just 1 ram stick. I also tried with several monitors, but no luck detecting the computer.

I had thought i had a motherboard issue, so i bought a replacement of same model, but exact same issue.
I'm totally stumped, no idea where to go.
If anyone has any more troubleshooting i could try, it would be great.
Here's the info on my specs :
ASUS PBZ77-V LX2
CORSAIR RM550X
KINGSTON HYPERX GENESIS 4GBX2
SAMSUNG 128GB SSD
Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM

Thanks
