Computer Fan Speeds at 1800 RPM?

Hello,
I'm a bit worried about my fan speeds never going below 1800 RPM (For case fans and I believe CPU fan as well). It sounds uncomfortably loud, and was just wondering if this is normal/okay/won't wear out the rotor soon? If so should I turn on S.M.A.R.T fan control?

I have an i7-7700k, Mastercase 5, and a Hyper 212 Evo for its cooler.

I have an old CPU (i7 950) And i run the CPU fan at full speed all the time - around 2,400RPM as i play really CPU intensive sim games and it keeps the temps down on the old chip. I would not worry about wearing out the fan, they are very cheap to replace and designed to run and run. Plus the fact that they are nearly all brushless nowadays. Mine is not expensive and has been like this for about three years so far, and is not showing any signs of wear. Neither is the rear case fan, which is also on full speed. As Mike says, its more to do with noise than longevity. Try SMART, and keep an eye on your temps.

Just my tuppence worth.
