I'm a newbie who recently started collecting parts using pcpartpicker and finally got all the parts I need, so I built it last night.
Turns out, everything runs fine--some mobo lights are on, fans are running, gpu is running, optical drive is running, HDD is running and chassis fans are running.... but there's no signal.
There's occasionally a barely-audible 2-beep. So I after searching around it find out its a parity circuit failure or something.
I've tried swapping the memory sticks around but to no avail. 2 am, I gave up went to sleep. I wake up, realising I didn't try it with the GPU. Also changed the RAM stick to the 2-4 setting, but used just one stick. Also unplugged the HDD and optical drive.
Then instead of using the mobo dvi port, I used the GPU DVI port.
Worked like a treat, I got visual!

Could someone tell me what's possibly wrong with the mobo? Should I have it 'RMA'd'?

I've looked through the forums and also this mostly helpful thread:

Here's my build for reference:

Thanks in advance!
P.S. I've looked almost everywhere on the forums by searching other people's similar problems and trying out solutions, but ended up at this last "safe point" so any help will be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: Now works with both memory sticks in the 2-4 position

Thanks! To think I didn't know of something like that :(
Also, how would I install windows without a CD, instead using a usb?
I see a "Fast boot" option on the mobo 'boot-page' to bootup from a usb--Is this the way to go? Or should I just plug in a USB with windows installed and see if that works?
