Computer FPS Suddenly Bad?

I was on my computer and the fps of my games just suddenly went bad... I used to run it at 120fps+ now it's just 20-30 :/

Core I5 Intel
8GB Ram *1600Mhz*

what games, and what are the rest of your system specs?

assuming settings and everything else has stayed the same, it's probably your drivers or something in the software (av, viruses, malware, etc)
