As the title says my computer has been freezing and makes a booping noise whenever I click the mouse. I cannot Ctrl/Alt/Delete, I have to either push the restart or power button +7 secs and restart it that way. This can occur anywhere from 5 minutes to a couple of hours. There is no error nothing, just freezes, and mouse cursor won't move. On top of that, sometimes when I restart my monitors won't start up either. I have to sometimes do 2-3 restarts to get my monitors connected (HDMI not found). I have the monitor plugged into the GPU and I have once removed it and put it into the MB HDMI slot which worked but then stopped working the next morning.

I am not currently in the GPU. I have also uninstalled GPU drivers and did a clean install and didn't seem to work. I'm unsure as to what exactly could be the problem. I haven't taken it apart and cleaned it nor does a computer reset. I'm hoping I can fix the problem before taking it all apart. Any ideas? Any one else experienced a situation like this? Very frustrating, feels like a time bomb every time I start up my PC because I don't know what to expect.

Specs:
MB - MSI Z170A Gaming M5
CPU: i7-6700K 4GHz
GPU: Geforce GTX 980 Ti
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 10

Thank you

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age. BIOS version for your motherboard? Can you elaborate on what your ram load out is(as in it's make and model)? How are you cooling the processor? Might want to see if using another keyboard aleviates the issue.

Speaking of keyboards, please include the make and model of your peripherals.
