Hi, so I have been having an annoying issue with my Laptop for a few weeks now.
My laptop is an HP Pavilion g6-1b50us Notebook PC. Here's the issue:

During random use of my computer, (but especially when starting/closing intensive programs like games) the screen will freeze, my trackpad and keyboard will stop working, and SOMETIMES, the screen will unfreeze about 10-30 seconds later. The trackpad and keyboard remain frozen, so I am forced to power down the system with the POWER button.

When these "freezes" occur, I can still use anything plugged in via USB.
So even if my trackpad/laptop keyboard stop working, I can use a USB Mouse and USB keyboard without problems. If I UNPLUG and plug back in the USB items, or try to plug any new ones in, it will not identify/acknowledge them. It will only allowed continued use of the ones that were plugged in right before the "freeze" occurred.

There are no beeps or sound loops during these freezes, and sometimes the screen never freezes at ALL, but the trackpad/mouse will just stop working. Other times, the screen freezes completely. Occasionally after holding the POWER button down during these freezes (to restart the PC), I will get a HP Caps Lock "Blinking Code" on reboot, and it will not start the PC. It is a "CPU NOT FUNCTIONAL" blink-code error. If I do a hard reboot, (remove the battery and AC Adapter and hold power button for 30 seconds), it usually starts back up. Also, when these "freezes" happen, I lose Keyboard/Touchpad, CAPS LOCK's LED doesn't turn on/off when pressed, Wifi button's LED doesn't change when pressed, but DVD-Drive still opens/closes/spins, fan remains going, WiFi remains connected, etc.
Here is what I have tried so far:

Upgrading System Bios
Monitoring CPU heat/usage during "freezes", they are not above average.
Scanning with anti-virus, disabling antivirus, uninstalling anti-virus.
Updating Keyboard/Trackpad Drivers
Uninstalling/Reinstalling Keyboard & Trackpad Drivers
Updating Graphics Card
Running 1 Memory Test (No problems found)

That's all I can think that I have done off the top of my head, but I've read 25+ related articles across the internet and haven't found an answer. Thank you for your help!

UPDATE: It just happened again, while writing this post. It happens 3+ times a day, once about every 60-120 minutes of the PC being on.

UPDATE 2 (10:00 P.M. 2/2/17): I found that if I go into my Touchpad's configuration, and disable it, then re-enable it, it restores the touchpad AND the keyboard. I am keeping this thread open as I still don't know why I get the freezes.

UPDATE 3 (11:30 P.M. 2/2/17): The PC just froze 2 more times within 30 minutes. The screen, keyboard, mouse, and ALL CONNECTED USB devices stopped working requiring a forced shutdown. On restart, I get the "CPU NOT FUCTIONAL" LED error code.

UPDATE 4: PC Froze again, this time it made a noise. The noise was a loud 1-second continuous loop of the music that was playing when the PC froze.

UPDATE 5: PC's Touchpad/Keyboard stopped again, but this time no PC freeze. I went into Task Manager and found that "System" was using 50 CPU. I used process explorer to get more info, and it said 50 CPU was being used by System's "ntoskml.exe!ExReleaseRegionAndLeavePriorityRegion". After waiting about 10 minutes, the CPU went from 50 on that to 0. I disabled/re-enabled my touchpad in Device Manager, and it restored them. I did not have to reboot/restart my computer.
